Why we exist
Scissortail is chartered as a Community Development Corporation. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit committed to community building – to increase the abilities of ordinary people to earn income, accumulate savings and own a home and business.
PROGRAMS
Scissortail’s ChoiceMatters program is the primary parent voice and resource to parents for education choice issues in Oklahoma.
Through our grassroots network we are engaged in parent education and outreach, especially to the Hispanic community.
Who we serve
Scissortail’s primary focus is to increase the vitality of low-income Oklahomans.
In collaboration with other CDCs or non-profits in Oklahoma whose missions are complementary, Scissortail will extend our reach and outreach.
